About how much would it cost to rebuild a set of Fox Racing shocks for a mountain bike?

I have no internal components. The shocks are Fox Racing Talas RL if that helps at all.

A Fox anything should only be serviced by an authorized Fox dealer or by Fox themselves! You as the end consumer should not do it yourself or you run the risk of VOIDING any and all warranties!

If your doing it yourself it will cost a fortune . You have to buy the rebuild kit and the special tools to do it. Any good bike shop will have a set price for rebuilding them.

Thats an example of the service repair prices. For 80 bucks you get this minus parts they will be extra.

    and lowers cleaned and
    inspected for wear or damage
    • All fluids replaced with
    factory recommended
    products
    • main seals replaced with
    factory recommended parts
    • pro advice and setup guidance
    upon request
Price listed is for labor only.
Seals, oil, and parts not included

Like i said any good shop will have pre set prices for thier service.

I just sent my Fox 36 Van into Fox for service and it cost $310 US. They had to replace the upper tubes wich includes the steerer tube.

You can buy the wiper seal kit for $20 and install it yourself with some Fox Float grease for 3 bucks.
The cartrige rebuil kit is $20 and thebushing kit is $29.
    Looks pretty complicated, though.

Or, send it to a customn rebuild place like Pushed industries. looks like yours would cost somewhere betweeen 1$45 and $378 depending on what it needs and what you wan t done.

Good luck, I think wichever you choose will be worth it.
