That’s a good time to start . Just don’t try to do too much in your first month. ….and do it for the fun and excercise..Don’t look for glory and money .Mike
Definitely not. AMA sanctioned races are broken down into A , B and C classes. You would most likely start in the lites (125/250F) C class, so you wouldn’t be racing against A and B riders that have been racing since they were 4. Good luck and enjoy!!
I have a friend thats 42 and just started racing last year. He actually won his first 500 main this summer. It’s never too late for anything bud.
Nope! I just started too race but I have always rode bikes since i was little.

Never to late to learn.
As for racing, you need to be damm good to shine above younger and better riders.
no way dude. theres guys racing over 55. never to late to learn, its an awsome sport and alot of people dont start till alot older. so ride on!!
heck no it’s not too late! you should try it, it is really a lot of fun.
yeah you can but youll end up being slower than all of the other kids that are already racing at your age
go for it. It is never too late to learn… It is not likely that you will be the next RC or Bubba ….the goal should be to do your best and have fun
Not too late to learn. The key is not going over your ability. Start slow & get technique down, then work on speed.
no its never too late,, but take your time and use your head to figure out how to actually ride before you start racing.
