is pocket bike racing fun, safe, worth the money?
im 14, thinking about getting a pocket bike (pocket rocket). My mom thinks its a bad idea, cuz the are illegal on the street, so i would have limited space to ride, she thinks they are unsafe. I live in Rhode Island, i was wondering if there are any places for a beginner to race or just ride around. i need to know about the gear and protection i need. do they need a lot of repairs? are they as fun as they look? is it worth the money? what is the best online store for them? or where is the best place in RI to buy one (if there is any). what is a good price for one?

Yes it is expensive and DANGEROUS. you do not i repeat do not need to get involved in this mini motorbike racing. besides, the sidewalks are no place for such foolishness. your mother seems to know what she is talking about and i agree with her that you do not need to get involved in such wickedry and demonism. ride a bike or learn tennis. stamp collecting is a GREAT hobby. books, music and poems are things that can expand the mind. i suggest you pick one of these as a hobby. i hope this helps.
