I have a Giant Iguana Mountain Bike (1993 to 1996) How can I find out what year my bike is? How can I find specifications for it? I bought it used.

I just purchased a mountain bike with Amarillo DS on the side of it, so I am assuming that is the brand. When I look it up online all I can find is things related to Amarillo, TX, which is not what I want. Does anybody have any thoughts or resources concerning this type of bike?

I am going to buy a new mountain bike and i need help on what size of bike frame that fits for me. I am 5 foot 6 and 125 pounds. I am looking at this supercycle bike because it is going for $109.99 because it is such a great price. It comes in bike frame sizes 16 inch and 20 inch. I just would like to know if the 20 inch is too small or perfect sized. Thanks

I have a 5 year old Bianchi “Ocelot” mountain bike, that has rust on the rear derailleur / “gear hub”. How can i effectively remove and clean it so that it looks new and won’t interfere with the performance?

I am in the process of buying a new mountain bike fork, but I really have no clue what to buy. I need to buy something under $250. Please dont say i need to buy a better one, because I dont ride enough to care that you think i need a more expensive one. But any way, I have a spinner edge that is broken, and want to know what the best fork under or at $250 is?

I have a 21 speed Giant brand mountain bike, 3 high gears and 7 low. I only switch the low gear when I’m in first gear and trying to climb a hill. I only switch the high gear when the low gear is at its highest (otherwise the chain is guaranteed to fall off due to the angle). I have tried shifting while pedaling, while not pedaling, while not moving, while pedaling backwards, every way I can imagine, but for some reason the chain seems to fall off an awful lot. It’s a real time consuming pain to get it back on, and I end up with a lot of grease stains on my clothing and hands.

Should I be pedaling when I shift? Is it okay to shift down after stopping (to make it easier to start pedaling again)? What is it that is causing the chain to fall off while I’m riding?

Every time I go out on my mountain bike, within 50mtrs or so the left crank arm has unscrewed iteslf and comes off. This happens everytime, no matter how tight I do the bolt up.

I have a nice Mountain Bike, but I’m more interested in street riding than trail riding. Can I use it as a street bike by changing out the knobby tires for smooth ones? Is that possible?

I just got my first mountain bike (used mtx 225) and it has 3 gears on the left handle and 6 gears on the right handle. What is the difference?

The only bikes I’ve ever got on were cheap Chinese bicycles, how is it like to ride a $700 dollar mountain bike. Do you get tired when pedaling, how far will you get with in a few pedals. How about going up hills?
