I’m looking for unknown mountain bike trails / bmx bike trails. I want them to be wooded trails with plenty of jumps and technical turns. I want to know the best unknown bike trail in Houston. One that few people know about and is less crowded.

I despearetly want a swissbike, but they are very expensive, i am sure that you get what you pay for. However, are there any other folding mountain bikes which are similar in any way but cheaper. Thanks.

I live out in the country on dirt roads and im going to buy a mountain bike. I will be riding to town and alot of days its raining. I will need a tire that works good on both muddy roads and paved roads.

I am looking for a bike, $150 or less. I don’t know what exactly to look for in a mountain bike. I’ll be using it for leisure and for exercise, I would like a bike with resistance levels. How tall of a bike should I get for my 5’3 height? Where is a good place to see a selection of reasonably priced mountain bikes? Big 5? Walmart?

I’ll be riding around in my neighborhood. Going up some moderate slops. Going to local stores.
What’s the difference between hybrids and mountain bikes?

Me and a couple of buddies are going on a 70ish mile two day mountain bike trip. Were all experienced riders, but I was wondering what tips anyone had on keeping it light. We dont want to be carrying huge packs, as we’ve done it before (ugh, it was terrible). Thanks for your help.

I’ve just gotten back into biking four months ago and I’ve found that I have a love for mountain biking. On the trails I ride there are several small trees that have fallen over the trail. I know there’s a proper way to ride over these trees but I’m unsure if I’m doing it right.

I tend to go at a fair pace, pulling up on the handlebars as I start to cross the tree. I stop pedaling while the first wheel is going over due to lousy balance on my part, however I begin pedaling as soon as the first wheel gets over the tree.

These trees are anywhere from a couple of inches wide to about a foot in diameter. Most are around the foot mark.

Am I doing this right? How should I do this?

I used to ride freestyle bmx, now I am seeing people do the same tricks,riding,etc. on mountain bikes. How do I get into this? and if I wanted to build my own MTB what would I need to do? I cant find any suppliers or shops online. Please help…..

My dad has a broken mountain bike and I really want to fix it up and make it my own. I really wanted to customize it and make it look really cool. Any ideas on what I should do?

I’m going to be making a run down an approx. 1mi long hill and was wondering what the world record was for the highest unassisted speed reached on a mountain bike. I’m not going to be towed to obtain a higher speed. It’s just going to be me and my bike.
